As the title of the post suggest, this is me literary living off the edge of the embroidery trend.
Why, you may ask?
Because I once swore, catch me dead wearing this trend.
It was me taking a huge fashion risk.
For the longest time I never understood why we need to have flowers and embellishments on fabric.
It never sat well with me.
I mean don’t get me wrong, I love embellishments on shoes and flowers sitting beautifully in a vase at the centre of my coffee table but never on an outfit I was wearing.
I guess, my mantra on living life out of my comfort zone this year has sort of rubbed off on my style.
To be honest, the embroidery shirt below is the only one I own in this trend, taking baby steps..
My Personal Advice on Dressing In Embroidery:
If your style is edgy and chic like mine, I love to keep it subtle but sexy. scream yaas if you are like me!
Go bold or go home!
I choose a pretty little snake skin red purse that I never go wrong with.
I pair this purse with all my outfits, my absolute fave.
3. Remember to have fun.
This trend carries with it bright colours which spells out fun, so while on it, you would enjoy yourself.
