Excited to be finally sharing my day time skin care routine.
If you haven’t read the post on my night time routine please do, as the night time routine serves as a prep up for my skin for the next day.
Most products used here are products I mentioned in my night time routine.
Disclaimer: Am not a skin expert or a dermatologist.
My skin is very dry and all the products I will mention in this post cater to it.
Overtime, the results on my skin have made them part of my skin care regime.
Also, if you don’t know your skin type do ask a dermatologist.
I kick off my morning with a glass of warm water that has a slice of lemon or teaspoon of apple cider to kick start my metabolism and to awaken my skin.
I have recently started using apple cider so I won’t talk much about it for now, though I will do a product review on it soon.
Then, I step into the bathroom for my morning shower which means everything to me, I get to have 20 min of my “me time” where I get to think about all the things am grateful for and also sort of get my mind charged to take the day.
I use the Aveeno Eczema Body Wash for when I am having very flaky skin or the Dove Nutrium Dry Body Wash for my normal dry skin needs together with my body sponge for my daily bath.
Then I rinse with warm water.
I use my Elizabeth Arden Cleanser to wash off my face. I don’t use my scrub in the morning as I used it in the evening. Using it again means stripping my skin off all the good moisture. I pat dry with my towel and then step out of the bathroom.
For my body I use the Palmers Olive Oil Lotion mixed with my Palmers Body Oil to cater to my dry skin needs. This I smear all over my body and feet.
I then use apply my Rexona Deodorant under my armpits which I love because it helps me not to sweat at all throughout the day.
A plus is that it smells so good too.
For my face, I use the Neutrogena Oil Free Toner which helps shrink the appearance of my large pores.
I then use my Neutrogena Dry Face Moisturizer on my face.
After, I go ahead and start off on my make-up then style my hair and boom, am ready to start my day.
