Happy new month friends. How’s your July coming along?
Mine is super, although the cold beckons, wearing my winter style out has been fun.
I love playing dress up during the cold. Should I let you all in on my July style?
Let me know below in the comment section.
As always I love hearing from you guys. You bring that sunshine to my soul. ;-)
Well I thought I would let you in on something different and fun for the first time on my blog that most of you have been asking me about and that is my love for make-up.
First up, my everyday 20 min make-up routine.
I have a 8 to 5 job which leaves me with very little time to dress up and do my make-up in the morning.
I therefore had to figure out a routine that works for me, which had to be under 20min.
So, here goes:
First I go in with my MAC Strobe Cream when I want an extra glow OR MAC Prep and Prime Natural Radiance Base Visage and work it into my entire face using my fingers.
This helps my make-up stay on for longer.
Then I go in with my Estee Lauder Liquid Foundation using my beauty blender that I have spritz some MAC Fixing spray on.
I love the Foundation as it is light weight on my skin, it feels like am just wearing a moisturizer and offers full coverage throughout the day.
I take my spooly brush from Pauline Cosmetics and comb through my eyebrows. Then I take my eyebrow pencil and fill in my brows in the areas that have scarce brows, whilst trying to define the arc of my brows.
I use my LA Girl Pro-Concealer in Fawn that is a couple of shades lighter than my skin tone and using my MAC angled brush I apply it on the bottom and top of my brows to clean up the area.
I love how it glides under my eyes and on my eyes as I try to conceal my dark circles and my uneven skin tone.
I place some on my nose as well just to highlight that area.
I use MAC Upward Lash Mascara to voluminous my lashes and lengthen them .I love the fact that it doesn’t smudge all over my eyes as well.
My current fave lipsticks are Nouba Millebaci No 45 and the Color Pop Chocolate Brown Matte Lipstick, MAC Lip-glosses come in handy when am trying to achieve a subtle look.
I always use a lip liner before applying my lipsticks.
Finally I use my Mac Fix It Setting Spray to set my make-up.
And am ready to take on the day.
Did you enjoy the mini -make-up tutorial?
