Nothing screams bold, daring and delish like Ankara!
I had so much fun dressing up for a family traditional function last weekend.
I mean its family, so that outfit length had to be all the way down to my ankles, yaas!
The skirt was so comfy and I added more fun to it by pairing it with a frill top that was a shade from the Ankara skirt.
The Ankara is so versatile, I bet, am wearing this piece with a white formal shirt to work and a bolder print to brunch with the girls, then again to a wedding! You see what I mean?
It should be a staple for every lady…try it out and tag me on: @tndichu on Instagram and Tabitha Ndichu on Facebook.
Well, it’s one thing to wear Ankara and another to pair it correctly.
Tips on wearing Ankara:
If pairing it with a top / jeans / skirt whatever suits you, be sure that you pick a shade of color from the Ankara for more official and formal events.
You can also go bold, layering a bold print like stripes on Ankara that just spells fun, for more casual forums.
For footwear, preferably, pick a neutral color (black/nude) or again a shade from the Ankara.
You can wear with sandals/flats for casual days and switch up to heels for work or more formal events.

I love the fact that you are long and flare away with the wind every time I walk down the streets in you.
Like Black Magic, you do that effortlessly, you bring out the best in me making me feel like a goddess of sorts.
It’s in how comfortable you are and how you pair well with my favorite pants and leggings.
Am sorry that I have worn you literary everywhere, I just can’t get enough of you!
I got one of your off white sisters so that I can easily give you a break every now and then, I mean I don’t want to be nagging. But trust me nothing replaces your black lace magic, am still loyal to you boo!
If the Black Lace Kimono was a person I would have softly whispered this intricate words to them.
Another trend that I'm utterly out of words for is the Kimono.
See how I would wear it to more formal occasions as in black and casual days in off white.
Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment on what you love/don’t about the Kimono trend and I will be delighted to hear from you.
Have a lovely month ahead!

The Off Shoulder trend comes in tops, dresses to even jumpsuits. A staple in my wardrobe, stocked in all types of colors.
With the Nairobi heat right now, this has become an easy outfit to wear to brunch, lunch dates or when spending quality time with the hubster.
Lace has been there since the 1940’s,white crochet lace rules in summer, while in winter, red and black lace party dresses get us into the Christmas spirit. It always gives and extra oomph to ones look and has a sexy appeal.
The feeling I get whenever I wear it, “A Grown Princess!”
